Blue Mountain Farm raises
pastured poultry, eggs from pastured chicken, and pork.
Products available include whole and half chickens and turkeys, boneless/skinless
breast meat, legs and thighs, livers, and feet. ("About the feet—It's
a long story, ask us.")
The Elliots will be the first to tell
you that "there are quicker, easier, and cheaper ways to raise poultry.
But is it worth it? The bottom line for us is a healthy bird with plenty
of down home flavor."

Dixie Chickens. Well, I won't
even attempt explaining the name, it just kind of stuck! Pastured Poultry is
what we do: Raise chickens on pasture, lush with rye grass and legumes.
In addition to the pasture (which supplies 30% of their diet), we feed
a corn + soy based ration we have mixed to our specification.
Chicken is available May through November
and is packaged in heat shrink bags, hence storage life in the freezer
is excellent. We offer whole, halves, skinless boneless breast, wings,
leg-thigh quarters, and stock bones. Remember the "magic"
is in the stock. We also deliver the birds to Mountain Home, Harrison,
and Jasper.
As most of you probably know, the health
benefits from pasture raised meats are incredible. And the flavor and
enjoyment is not far behind. Just one step closer to Nature and what
God intended.

French Prairie Farm lies in
the rich meadows and bottomlands of the Petit Jean River, thirty miles
south of Fort Smith, Arkansas. We are approximately nine miles east
of Mansfield, not far off Highway 71. We are currently offering
pastured chicken, pastured eggs, and pastured lamb.
The lamb eat only grass, forage, and
supplements such as kelp. Both the laying hens and the broilers (meat
chickens) move often to fresh grass, and feed on a transitional-organic,
GMO-free, soy-free feed.
Our family seeks to return to the tradition
of the small family farm, producing quality, nutrient-dense food in a
manner that protects the welfare of the animals and enriches the soil.
Although we are not certified organic, just like your grandparent's farm,
our farm animals are not exposed to all the health dangers of modern
agriculture practices. We use old-fashioned ingenuity to raise the animals
in a relaxed, natural environment, but also take advantage of modern
technology such as portable fencing and water systems to achieve better
results.

grass farm that utilizes high quality forages to produce all-natural,
100% grass-finished beef and lamb. Our animals are grown
and finished completely on pasture, from birth to harvest.

Healthy Tasty Beef is raised
at Walnut Grove Farm, which has been in the family since 1935. Our
grass-fed, grass-finished operation sells only beef born and
raised on these acres in NW Arkansas.
Our pure-bred Hereford cattle are grazed
in pastures of mixed grass. The summer pastures are primarily Bermuda
grass, White Clover, Red Clover and Lespedeza. Late winter and spring
find the cattle feeding on Annual Rye Grass, Wheat and Fescue. Cattle
being prepared for harvest in the winter time are supplemented with
top quality alfalfa hay. We use managed intensive grazing and
never graze forage older than second stage growth. Cattle drink
clear fresh water from tanks in their pastures, not water from ponds
they've been standing in.
Our beef is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids,
beta carotene, vitamin E and CLA. They are raised free of stress.
No grains, hormones, or antibiotics are used in producing this meat for
you. Our farming methods are environmentally friendly. No pesticides
are used on our pastures. Meat is USDA certified, vacuum sealed
and flash frozen. The great flavor is rich and robust.

Oakcreek Buffalo Ranch is home
to about 80 American Bison just north of Bella Vista, Arkansas in SW
Missouri, an hour's drive south of Joplin. And yes, each one of these buffalo is
named, has a definite personality, and is special to owners Carol and
Leon Klein.
We invite folks to visit our farm for
a tour of the herd and to purchase the healthiest, tastiest meat available
anywhere. (We do not ship meats, except for snack sticks and jerky which
do not need refrigeration.) Our meats are frozen and vacuum sealed,
and are sold right here at the farm by the pound in individual cuts such
as roasts, steaks and burger.
At Oakcreek, we try to raise our animals
in the most natural way possible. To learn more about how our animals
are raised and the nutritional value of the meats, please visit our website
and call with any questions. Many of our customers are referred by Metabolic
Weight Loss Center for a low calorie, nutritious and delicious addition
to their weight loss program. Body Builders from FUSE Gym in Bentonville
appreciate those qualities as well, and there is a restaurant at the
gym where you can try a delicious meal featuring Oakcreek bison. You
can also buy Oakcreek bison meat at Cooks Natural Market in Rogers.
Oakcreek Buffalo Ranch is a treat for
customers who enjoy a short trip out to this beautiful countryside and

Old Dallas Ranch specializes
in 100% all natural, grass-fed beef. Most are Texas Longhorn
or Longhorn Crossed, which makes them much lower in fat and cholesterol
than other types of beef.
We breed them and raise them up right
here from start to finish. All they ever have are milk, grass or
hay, and salt/mineral blocks. They have no hormones or steroids or antibiotics
given to them. We sell by the ¼, ½ or whole in bulk – charged
by the head, or by the piece – charged by the pound.
Delivery is available, especially on
larger orders. Depending on the order size, I am willing to drive up
to 100 miles personally to deliver the meat, for an extra fee. Call for
details
We thank you in advance for helping
to support our family farm.

Ozark Pasture Beef produces
grass-finished beef in northwest Arkansas. We are a group of
family farmers striving to produce beef in a sustainable, environmentally
responsible manner.
Our beef is finished on grass only,
no grain or animal by-products are used. The cattle are born and raised
on the farm so that we can assure our customers that no shortcuts have
been taken in the production of the beef they purchase.
We offer a variety of beef cuts, all
of them cut, packaged, and flash frozen under USDA inspection to assure
quality and wholesomeness. Our website provides a detailed list of our
products and prices. We also sell whole, half, or quarter carcasses,
cut to your specifications if you are interested and with some advance
notice. Availability is not an issue with us as we have a steady supply
of cattle from our farmer members. Seasonal issues are minimized due
to our almost ideal climate for growing grass in the Ozarks. We offer
the ability to trace each retail package to the farm of origin. We test
each carcass for tenderness and package our beef in clear plastic to
allow you to see the quality. Make Ozark Pasture Beef your choice for
beef today.

Peace Valley Poultry raises field-grazed chicken,
turkey and beef. In 1996 our family began growing wholesome
range-raised poultry. We are still a small family farm committed to
providing high-quality, healthy meat in a manner that respects God's
creation.
Our chickens are treated carefully and naturally
from day one. The ration we feed them is one we mix from whole grains,
vitamins and minerals, and does NOT contain Genetically Modified ingredients
or any medications. The pasture they are raised on is pesticide-free/herbicide-free
and is managed holistically with rotationally grazed cattle, although
it is not certified organic. The chickens range freely from the hoop
house shelters that we pasture them from. These shelters are moved to
fresh grass daily to insure healthy birds and pastures. At processing
time we continue our practice of careful handling to provide high-quality
fresh chicken. The end result is a truly tasty bird; "Like chicken
used to taste," as many of our customers say. The chicken is sold
either whole, split (in half), cut-up, or in packages of individual parts.
In November we sell turkeys that are raised the same
way the chickens are. We have heard many reports from satisfied customers
who don't want anything but field-grazed turkeys now that they have tried
one. The flavor difference is clear. Fresh turkeys are available on the
farm and at delivery locations before Thanksgiving.
Our farm is located about 25 miles north of the
Missouri/Arkansas border. We sell our poultry from our farm and also
in Springfield, Missouri and Rolla, Missouri; as well as several other
areas in southeast Missouri.
Our grass-finished beef is grown in the same manner
as our other meat, carefully and conscientiously. At this time we are
offering half or whole beeves, not individual cuts.
Feel free to visit our website to see photos and
learn more about our farm.

Petit Jean Farm is a family farm
located atop Petit Jean Mountain in central Arkansas. Here we
raise sheep, pigs, cows and honeybees.
We have the typical cuts of lamb,
pork and beef. We also have honey and honey
products (such as honey apple butter, honey fudge, honey cherry
salsa and more).
Our meat and honey can be bought on-line
at www.petitjeanfarm.com or
it can be purchased at our farm in Morrilton, AR. We also make drop off
arrangements with our customers every other week in Little Rock
and Hot Springs during the winter months and every week at the Farmer's
Markets in those towns during the summer months. Everything available
can be shipped. Meat is sent by air mail to insure freshness upon
receipt. We ship by UPS and costs are added to total purchase.
After 30 years of practice, we have
pioneered a revolutionary premium pasture sheep and a grass based feeding
system where animals are moved to fresh, clean grass weekly. Our
animals graze on fresh, lush, rich pasture just as nature intended. This
healthy stress-free environment eliminates the need for hormones, antibiotics
and other drugs because the animals are always on clean pasture.

Ratchford Farms. Down a winding
road that snakes its way between hills and valleys in the Ozark Mountains

We encourage you to go wild! Our products are shipped directly to you

for the person who (seemingly) has everything. Visit our website to order snack
sticks, jerky, burgers, roasts, hotdogs, steaks and many other cuts of

Waterfall Hollow Farm is a
woman-owned producer of organically-managed pasture-raised and pasture-finished beef.
Our beef steers are allowed to grow on pasture a full year longer than
most producers’ calves, which yields a much more tender and sweet-flavored
beef.
Waterfall Naturals™ Pasture-Finished
Beef is an Arkansas product. Our USDA-inspected processor selects only
the most tender cuts for our steaks and roasts; the beef is packed in
clear heavy poly with our custom USDA-approved label, then is vacuum-sealed
so the contents can be seen at a glance and the bags cut open with scissors.
All beef is dry-aged and expertly hand-cut, and the hand-packaged beef
is frozen immediately to ensure the highest quality. Each package contains
100% beef.
We accept money orders or personal checks,
and ship next-day throughout the continental US via FedEx, UPS, or DHL.
Our products may be found in the freezer section of Ozark
Natural Foods and at Old
Soul Organics and More, both in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
