Carolina
Grassfed Beef & Free-Range Eggs, a division of Double M Farm,
Inc., produces delicious all natural grassfed grass-finished beef and
free-range eggs.
We feed no grain, grain by-products, or animal by-products
to our cattle. We use no hormones, antibiotics, pesticides, herbicides,
de-wormers, or chemical fertilizers. We use rotational grazing and only
small amounts of fertilizers approved for organic farming. We mix our
own minerals per Gearld Fry with sea salt as the base.
We start with a superior line of Trask Polled Hereford,
a heritage breed of Hereford cattle. We knew Mr. Trask personally and
have had Trask cattle on the farm since 1950. We choose animals that
show phenotypic traits for finishing exceptionally well on grass. This
is based on information gained through years of studying the teachings
of Gearld Fry and the late Charles Walters, who base their teachings
on the wisdom of Dr. Jan Bonsma, James Drayson, and Heino Messerschmidt.
We follow the Albrecht method of soil fertility.
Our Moyers Red Chickens have free-range of 500 acres
to do what chickens do: scratch the ground, eat bugs, grass, and the
feed we mix. We use no commercial layer feed or animal by-products.
Beef
is sold by the cut, half, and whole carcass, vacuum sealed, flash frozen,
dry-aged for 4-5 weeks, processed in a USDA inspected facility, and is
sold on the farm.
We are located in the beautiful foothills of Anderson,
SC, 13 miles from the Georgia State Line. Double M Farm, Inc.
has been owned and operated by our family since 1847. We have produced
the finest Grassfed Beef since 2004.

Dyal Farm provides naturally-raised, free-range pork that
is very flavorful, custom processed, freezer ready, whole or half,
with pickup at our local abattoir in the Vidalia area. Also: barbecue
size, gift certificates, some wholesale, retail and deliveries. Please

Our pigs are born and raised out-of-doors and stay

water, and fresh clean dirt. They forage our naturally grown crops, including
green forage of grasses, brassicas, and legumes, as well as our corn,
wheat, and oats. They are supplemented with whole local yellow corn and
soybean meal, depending on our yields and rotations. They receive no
antibiotics or hormones, no meat or bonemeal, no
"junk food."
We are a small family farm. Having grown our own
food—milk, eggs, meat and vegetables—for years, we sold our
first pork in Spring 2003. We want to provide delicious, healthful, affordable
food and are grateful to all our wonderful customers who gave us a try—and
came back for more!

Florida
Fresh Beef Company, located in North Central Florida
(about 130 miles south of the Georgia border), produces
100% gourmet grass fed, organically raised, Aberdeen Angus beef from
free-range cattle that are raised on 850 acres of lush shaded pasture
in Citra, Florida. They feast on a salad bar of pesticide-free "gourmet" forage
including clover, wheat, oat and rye grass.
The cattle are then harvested not more than 40 miles
away at a USDA inspected facility. Once processed, the carcasses are
hung in an air ventilated refrigerated locker for up to 28 days for our "old
school" dry-aging process. This process naturally tenderizes the
meat and enhances its taste. The beef is then cut into gourmet roasts,
steaks and Angus Burger—a local Ocala favorite. Each cut of
beef, whether roast or steak, is individually packed in a vacuum bag
and air sealed for freshness. Beef is available by the individual cut,
various Variety Packs (saving $$$), or by the whole, half, quarter or
eighth beef.
Florida Fresh Beef Company, established in 2008,
is proud to be one of the first companies in almost 20 years to
produce fresh local meat available to the public under USDA inspection.
Our relationships with various like-minded grass-fed cattle ranchers
throughout the state have allowed us to develop a consistent supply
of healthy, delicious, local Florida beef available in bulk or individual
cuts throughout the year.
Florida Fresh Beef Company ships throughout the state
of Florida, Georgia, the Bahamas and US Virgin Islands, as well as the
continental USA. A South Florida supply outlet is currently in development
for the distribution of both regular and Glatt Kosher beef. We
have also sucessfully developed a share program for CSA’s and Buying
Clubs. We can divide a carcass into 8 or 16 equal shares to make it affordable
for families to get the benefit of buying the bulk beef in smaller quantities
while still saving. We do the shipping!

and to locate farmers markets where you can buy our beef.

Little River Natural Beef offers a variety
of natural pasture-raised products including beef, chicken, goat,
and pork. All our products are raised under specific guidelines:
- Animals will consume no grain*, grain by-product, alternative feed
(chewing gum), or by-products from other animals. Animals will be
maintained and finished on natural grasses and forages. Cereal grains
are permissible in the vegetative state. Stored forage should be
in the form of cured grass or legume hay. No G.M.O's—forage
or not.
- Animals will be free from antibiotics, growth hormones, pesticides,
and confinement.
- Animals will be of genetic type with the ability to finish on forage
at proper body condition and maturity. This will be established through
visual appraisal, genetic verifiers (tenderness gene), carcass testing,
or all inclusive.
- Animals should be humanely handled and processed with minimum amount
of stress and crowding. Cattle disposition should be scored and only
animals with suitable scores be eligible. High-strung animals lead
to handling difficulties and stress.
- Slaughtering and processing of these animals should also be accomplished
with minimum of stress. Slaughter facilities should only slaughter
forage-fed animals to avoid cross contamination of E-Coli from grain-fed
animals.
- Animals should not graze land treated with pesticides.
- Animals can be vaccinated with approved biologicals and dewormed
with products approved for grass-fed animals.
* Some natural grains are used in the finishing of
pork and poultry as they are not ruminants and cannot satisfy their
nutritional needs with grass and forage alone.

hens.
We focus on low-stress and humane treatment of all
our animals and employ management intensive grazing to grow healthy animals
