Florida Fresh Beef Company, conveniently located in North Central Florida, produces 100% gourmet grass fed, organically raised, Aberdeen Angus beef from free-range cattle that are raised on 850 acres of lush shaded pasture in Citra, Florida. They feast on a salad bar of pesticide-free "gourmet" forage including clover, wheat, oat and rye grass.
The cattle are then harvested not more than 40 miles away at a USDA inspected facility. Once processed, the carcasses are hung in an air ventilated refrigerated locker for up to 28 days for our "old school" dry-aging process. This process naturally tenderizes the meat and enhances its taste. The beef is then cut into gourmet roasts, steaks and Angus Burger—a local Ocala favorite. Each cut of beef, whether roast or steak, is individually packed in a vacuum bag and air sealed for freshness. Beef is available by the individual cut, various Variety Packs (saving $$$), or by the whole, half, quarter or eighth beef.
Florida Fresh Beef Company, established in 2008, is proud to be one of the first companies in almost 20 years to produce fresh local meat available to the public under USDA inspection. Our relationships with various like-minded grass-fed cattle ranchers throughout the state have allowed us to develop a consistent supply of healthy, delicious, local Florida beef available in bulk or individual cuts throughout the year.
Florida Fresh Beef Company ships throughout the state of Florida, Georgia, the Bahamas and US Virgin Islands, as well as the continental USA. A South Florida supply outlet is currently in development for the distribution of both regular and Glatt Kosher beef. We have also sucessfully developed a share program for CSA’s and Buying Clubs. We can divide a carcass into 8 or 16 equal shares to make it affordable for families to get the benefit of buying the bulk beef in smaller quantities while still saving. We do the shipping!

The farm is called DQ Farm and our main product is grassfed chickens under the brand name DQ 'Clean' Chicken.
We have been selling our chicken since year 2001. Our chickens are slow growing breeds taking about 80 to 90 days to reach a live weight of about 2 kg.
We worked with the Universiti Putra Malaysia lipids laboratory to consistently produce chickens with an omega 6 : omega 3 ratio of around 6. We also managed to produced a range of chickens called DQ DHA Plus which have a guaranteed ratio of 4:1 or less. In fact, the lab tests indicate that most of the chickens in this range actually have a ratio of 2:1 most of the time.
We also sell cabrito which we have had tested and have confirmed an omega 6 : omega 3 ratio of 4:1 or better.
The meats are all slaughtered to Halal standards.
The farm itself is certified to IFOAM standards under the Malaysian Organic Standards, MS 1529 : 2001. The certification scheme is called 'SOM' or Skim Organik Malaysia. The SOM only certifies vegetables, fruits and grains. At the moment Malaysia does not have organic standards for life-stock, however, in raising our animals on our organic farm, we meet all international organic and food safety standards.

We are the first and only grass fed poultry producer in Malaysia. We only sell to the local Malaysian market; we do not export. We produce just enough for the Malaysian market.

Republic of Panama
Our farm, Biogranjas is located in the small community of Los Pollos de Rio Hato in the Coclé province, one and one half hour drive from Panama City. This is a 150 acre property acquired about 11 years ago.
Our main operation is pasture poultry broilers
of the cornish breed. Because of the climate of our country we market broilers
all year around. Currently we are doing 300 birds per week and as of the middle
of next year we will be doing twice that amount.
Our broilers are sent to market at about 58 days weighing an average of 7.5 pounds. Dressed weight is about 4.25 pounds. Our price is $1.90/pound. We butcher our chickens at a Ministry of Health approved plant. There a government veterinary confirms the quality and health of our birds. Our farm has recently been certified by Certified Humane, raised and handled. This makes us the only poultry farm in our country that has qualified for this internationally recognized certification which is an honor for us all.
We sell our chickens locally to retail customers (Riba Smith Supermarkets, Organica Stores) as well as to hotels (Hotel Plaza Paitilla Inn, Hotel Venetto) and fine restaurants (La Posta, Ten Bistro, Manolo Caracol, Charlie Collins). Recently, we received the visit of Biolatina who are international organic certifiers. We hope to have our certification for organic production of broilers in about 6 months.
Additionally, we grow organic vegetables and micro greens, white yams and otoe.
