Amber
Grassfed Beef is a birth-to-market, family
enterprise that works with nature as a partner rather than a
force to overcome. We are not certified organic, but only animals
that are born and live their entire lives on our pastures, never
in confinement, eating their natural diet of grass and legumes
are eligible for Amber Grassfed Beef. This is the only way we
can guarantee no antibiotics
given or fed, no pesticides applied or given, no animal by-products
fed, and no growth implants used. A charter member of the
American Grassfed Association, we rotational graze to build
soil fertility and to give our cattle fresh grass every few days.
Our beef is processed at a small family-owned,
USDA-inspected plant whose owner has over 40 years of experience.
He ages our beef the maximum time (usually 21 to 28 days) to get
maximum tenderness and flavor, and then it is flash frozen. The 100% grassfed beef
is sold by whole, half, or quarter (e-mail for details) and by
the package when available.
We sell off the farm, pickup at
the processing plant in DeKalb, MS, and make deliveries to Ocean
Springs, MS and Jackson, MS.

Gloryland
Farms is a small, family-run enterprise located on 30 beautiful
gently-rolling acres in south central Mississippi. We are dedicated
to raising grass-fed and finished meat and dairy products, and
grew out of our desire to produce the healthiest farm products
possible to enhance our family's health. We accomplished this by
developing a production model to raise our livestock naturally,
and free of antibiotics, hormones, and all animal by-products.
We are now producing natural, pasture-raised chicken, turkey, beef,
pork, chevron (goat), and true free-range brown eggs.
Our Jersey cows, and Toggenburg and Kinder dairy goats are also
grass-based, giving us gallons of delicious healthy milk,
and we turn some of this into natural cheeses,
butter, and hand-milled milk and cream soaps. The excess
milk gets fed back to the poultry and pigs, providing an excellent
source of high-quality protein and nutrients, as does our excess
pecans.
In our desire to be good stewards of the land the Lord has given
us, we have kept our pastures, organic pecan orchards and market
gardens pesticide and artificial fertilizers free. We love to help
other get started in family grass-based farming. Give us a call
to ask any questions, to arrange a farm tour, or to sign up for
our cheese-making and soap-making classes. There is a chance we
will be needing to relocate, so our farm may be up for sale.

R & F Farm produces true free-range,
all naturally raised chickens. They are fed only an all
vegetable diet free of any antibiotics or any medications. Our
chickens have total access to free range. They are shut up at night
in coops to protect them from predators. Before being processed
they are fed a mix of wheat and corn to enhance the flavor and
texture of the finished product.
Chickens are processed at a USDA inspected
facility. We have whole
birds from 3.5 to over 6 pounds available at this time. We will
have cut up chicken available soon. These are
and will be the best chicken you ever tasted. Also coming soon
we will have free-range
eggs.
You can call or e-mail us your order. We can
ship anywhere in the United States.
If you are in the Columbus,
MS area, we are open at our house Friday, 1-5 pm; Saturday, 10-5;
Sunday, noon-5; and Monday, 9-5. We will be opening a store at
our farm this spring and will have organic
