BUYING CLUBS/Group Delivery Options
In a typical buying club, farmers consolidate
orders from a number of customers and deliver them to a central location,
typically a customer’s home. If you want to join a buying club
in your area, contact the appropriate people below:
Chaffin Family Orchards welcomes the formation
of personal buying clubs. If you would like to form a club with your
friends and order together, we can offer delivery to you in Northern
california or possibly further if the order is large enough. Contact
Chaffin Family Orchards for details.
Clark Summit Farm has
started a CSA Meat Club that delivers once a month to central pickup
sites in Emeryville, San Francisco, and a Marin County location to
be determined. Check their website for
more infromation.
Sierra Farms offers
a location/group delivery opportunity which is always open to new
members and/or locations. They sell and deliver
lamb on a pre-ordered basis to four San Francisco Bay area locations
on a 45-60 day schedule, currently April, June, September and November.
They will be adding locations throughout Northern California as needed.
Sierra Foothills Meat Buying Club is located
in Auburn, CA, and serves Placer County and Nevada Counties. The
products are locally grown beef, pork, and lamb from family-owned operations.
The livestock are raised on Sierra Foothill’s range and pasture
and produced with no hormones or antibiotics.
