Blue Sage Ranch in Big Horn, WY raises lamb and beef in a natural environment, using low-stress handling and minimal human intervention to provide a wholesome product grown for naturally superior genetics as nature has selected.

Through multi-species grazing and careful pasture management, we raise healthy, productive sheep and cattle without the use of additives, supplemental feeds, or industrial chemicals. Supporting local produce, merchants, and ranchers is a win-win situation. It limits the cost of shipping, excess fuel consumption and other costs to the environment while growing the local economy and improving our overall quality of life.

Lambs and calves are born on pasture in the spring, following the natural cycle of mother nature and all other wild herbivores to limit predation and parasites and maximize a grass-finished product for late fall. Half or whole beef is available. Select cut orders are available by special request. Half or whole lamb is available as well.

Please check our website for prices and order forms.

Full-blood, black head Dorper rams available for breeding.

Broken Spoke Yaks is a family operation in the high mountain valley of Star Valley Wyoming. We have pristine air and water. Our yaks are naturally pasture raised on organic fields. We raise our own hay from these fields also. No pesticides, fertilizers or chemicals of any kind have been used since.

We bought our farm in 1986. Our animals are not fed any grain. They are 100% grass fed. We do not vaccinate or use antibiotics. We rotate pastures for parasite control. Our meat is processed at a USDA facility and has been certified e-coli negative. The meat has been dry aged for 10 days then flash frozen in cryovac packaging. This ensures the most nutritious, flavorful and tender meat.

Please visit our website for the nutritional facts and pricing. You may call 307-887-6638 (or text) or email brokenspokeyaks@gmail.com for further information. Visitors are always welcome.

Dirty Spur Cattle Company raises pure bred Texas Longhorns. All of our animals are born and raised right here in Highland, Utah and never leave one of our pastures. They are grass fed from the day they are born to the day they are slaughtered, and are never given any hormones or antibiotics.

We process our meat at the only USDA-certified slaughter house in Utah County and we deliver our meat right to your home. You can trust that these cows are all-natural, hormone-free and never given anything but grass to eat all the days of their lives.

Our meat is extremely lean and has been tested at 92–98% lean. Thanks to Texas Longhorn beef, today's health-conscious consumer doesn't have to avoid tender juicy steaks. Not only is Longhorn beef leaner than that of other breeds, it is also lower in saturated fats. The flavorful Longhorn beef has less cholesterol and calories than chicken. Definitely good news for a healthy lifestyle!

"Lean beef is good for you – and the key word is lean. Longhorn meat on the average, contains 10 percent less saturated fat than that of other cattle. That puts lean Longhorn beef on par with skinned boneless white meat of chicken and that fact may come as a surprise to many dieticians." —Dr. Joseph Graham, Cardiovascular Surgeon at St. John's Medical Center in Joplin, Missouri.

We sell our beef in quarters, halves and full cows. You can also purchase ground beef from us in any quantity at any time of year. You can read more about the amazing qualities of Texas Longhorn lean meat on our website. We'd love to talk to you more about these amazing animals. Please give us a call.

Farmers Markets: We are vendors at the Thanksgiving Point Farmers Market on Friday from 3-7pm starting in August and ending in October. We are also vendors at the Happy Valley Farmers Market on Fridays from 5-9pm starting in August and ending in October.

We ship our meat anywhere in the continental US via UPS. Buyer pays shipping costs.

At Lair Ranch, Doug and Mary Lair and Family raise grass-finished beef and lamb in the beautiful and fertile Yellowstone River Valley just downstream from Big Timber, Montana.

We are non-certified organic, using the regenerative practices of our ancestors for the past many years—no pesticides or herbicides on our pastures, no hormones, antibiotics, or grain supplements in our grass-finished market beef and lamb, and gentle and humane handling in a rotational grazing system that promotes overall animal, soil, and human health. We raise and feed our own hay for winter feed.

Our cows are Red Devon (a Heritage Breed), Red Angus and Devon/Angus crosses. It takes around 24–26 months to finish an animal on grass in this part of the Country. Much slower than a feed lot, but much healthier meat and well worth the wait! We calve on grass in late May thru July with our top beef prospects finishing at a perfect time in the late Summer and Fall as the weather cools and the grass hardens.

Our sheep are South African Meat Merinos (SAMMs) which are known for their outstanding carcass traits and flavor (along with very good wool). They also take a little longer to finish than some sheep breeds, but once again, are well worth the wait. Our sheep and cows are protected by three beautiful livestock protection dogs, each of a different breed.

The integrity of our business is entirely dependent upon the integrity of our processor, and we have a great one. Try our grass-finished products and we think you will agree.

We sell beef by the whole, half and quarter. Lamb by the whole and half. Beef and lamb available for 2022. Please contact Doug Lair, 406-930-2233, lairs@mtintouch.net.

Visitors always welcome! Please call in advance as we’re out pushing water (irrigating), pulling weeds, moving livestock, or fixing something most of the time.

Lau Family Farm. Looking for truly grass-fed and grass-finished beef or lamb? Looking for a farm you can trust to raise their animals ethically? Please check us out.

We are proud to have been producing grass-fed beef and lamb for over 16 years. We work hard to treat our animals, our land, and our customers right. Our animals spend their lives grazing in our fields and pastures. During the winter months they are fed with hay, stored alfalfa, sainfoin and grasses we grow for them. We do not give hormone implants to our animals but allow them to grow naturally. All our meat is antibiotic free and carefully cut by our skilled butcher.

Check out our online store to see the various cuts and bundles of cuts available. We also have Artisan sausages made from our meats by Lost River Meats in Mackay, Idaho. Looking for a larger volume of meat? We offer whole and half lambs, as well as quarter, half and whole beef. Our butcher will cut and package the half and whole orders just the way you like it. Yarn and felt made from our ewe's wool is also available via our store.

Meadow Maid Foods, LLC grass-fed beef is produced for the heart, from the heart.

Our beeves are raised from birth to processing on a single ranch in southeastern Wyoming, with respect for the cattle, and in harmony with nature. Cattle graze on native and irrigated pastures year-round, without feed supplements. (Rarely, we supplement with hay during a severe winter storm.) Many people are surprised to learn that cattle can graze year-round in Wyoming, until we point out that the deer and antelope have done so for millennia.

Pastures and animals are free from pesticides, herbicides, added growth hormones, and antibiotic applications. Stress is minimized by calving in sync with nature, and animal-handling facilities are based on a low-stress Temple Grandin design. Beef is processed at an owner-operated, custom, USDA-inspected facility, aged for tenderness, and vacuum-packaged to maintain quality.

Quality grass-fed beef is available year-round, directly from Meadow Maid Foods, and at the Food Co-op, 205 E Mountain Avenue, Fort Collins, CO.

Thunderbasin Land & Livestock is a family-owned and operated ranch located on the high plains of southeastern Wyoming. We are USDA Certified Organic, and have employed organic practices continuously since 1987.

We offer only healthy, safe, and delicious lean beef that was raised using ecologically sustainable growing practices. At Thunderbasin Land & Livestock, our cattle are treated humanely and receive no antibiotics, hormones or pour-on insecticides. Much like the patterns of wildlife, our calves are born in the warmth of Spring and are not corralled or penned. They never see a feedlot and are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished, providing you with all the health benefits documented from grass fed beef. Our holistic ranch management practices create healthy riparian zones and prairie, resulting in an abundance of native plants and wildlife on the ranch.

Thunderbasin beef is processed at a USDA inspected plant and can be purchased in whole, halves, and quarters. We also offer convenient combination packages and gift baskets. The beef is available for pickup at the ranch or can be shipped outside the local area.

Touchstone Angus has been producing all natural grass fed angus beef for over 12 years in Colorado and Wyoming. Our cattle are developed on open pasture and are never fed antibiotics or implanted with hormonal growth stimulants.

Angus cattle are well know for their ability to produce tender well-marbled beef. Tenderness combined with the grass-based diet found on the open ranges of Wyoming and Colorado give Touchstone Grass Fed Beef its distinctive flavor.

Touchstone Grass Fed beef is sold in whole, halves and quarters (half of a half). We make an effort to have beef available year around but most of the beef is ready in the fall. Most of our beef is processed at a USDA inspected plant in Elizabeth, Colorado where it can be picked up frozen or stored in a locker. We can ship beef as well if you live outside of Colorado or Wyoming and are unable to pick it up.
