Blue Sage Ranch in Big Horn, WY raises lamb and beef in a natural environment with low-stress handling and minimal human intervention to provide a product that is wholesome and grown for naturally superior genetics as nature has selected. Through multi-species grazing and careful pasture management we are able to raise healthy, productive chickens, sheep, and cattle without use of additives, supplemental feeds or industrial chemicals. Local produce and supporting local merchants and ranchers is a win- win situation. It supports local industry and grows the local economy as well as limiting the cost of shipping, excess fuel consumption and many other costs to the environment and therefore our quality of life overall.

Lambs and calves are born in the spring on pasture along with the natural cycle of mother nature and all other wild herbivores to limit predation and parasites and maximize a grass-finished product for late Fall.

Beef is available in Fall for $5/pound and Polled Hereford Bulls are available to improve well mannered, high-efficiency, calving ease to your herd. These bulls do their job easily.

Lamb is available in February for $8/pound and full-blood black head Dorper rams are available in Fall with request by June.

Broken Spoke Yaks is a family operation in the high mountain valley of Star Valley Wyoming. We have pristine air and water. Our yaks are naturally pasture raised on organic fields. We raise our own hay from these fields also. No pesticides, fertilizers or chemicals of any kind have been used since.

We bought our farm in 1986. Our animals are not fed any grain. They are 100% grass fed. We do not vaccinate or use antibiotics. We rotate pastures for parasite control. Dirty Spur Cattle Company raises pure bred Texas Longhorns. All of our animals are born and raised right here in Highland, Utah and never leave one of our pastures. They are grass fed from the day they are born to the day they are slaughtered, and are never given any hormones or antibiotics.

We process our meat at the only USDA-certified slaughter house in Utah County and we deliver our meat right to your home. You can trust that these cows are all-natural, hormone-free and never given anything but grass to eat all the days of their lives.

Our meat is extremely lean and has been tested at 92–98% lean. Thanks to Texas Longhorn beef, today's health-conscious consumer doesn't have to avoid tender juicy steaks. Not only is Longhorn beef leaner than that of other breeds, it is also lower in saturated fats. The flavorful Longhorn beef has less cholesterol and calories than chicken. Definitely good news for a healthy lifestyle!

"Lean beef is good for you – and the key word is lean. Longhorn meat on the average, contains 10 percent less saturated fat than that of other cattle. That puts lean Longhorn beef on par with skinned boneless white meat of chicken and that fact may come as a surprise to many dieticians." —Dr. Joseph Graham, Cardiovascular Surgeon at St. John's Medical Center in Joplin, Missouri.

We sell our beef in quarters, halves and full cows. You can also purchase ground beef from us in any quantity at any time of year. You can read more about the amazing qualities of Texas Longhorn lean meat on our website. We'd love to talk to you more about these amazing animals. Please give us a call.

Farmers Markets: We are vendors at the Thanksgiving Point Farmers Market on Friday from 3-7pm starting in August and ending in October. We are also vendors at the Happy Valley Farmers Market on Fridays from 5-9pm starting in August and ending in October.

We ship our meat anywhere in the continental US via UPS. Buyer pays shipping costs.

Meadow Maid Foods, LLC grass-fed beef is produced for the heart, from the heart.

Our beeves are raised from birth to processing on a single ranch in southeastern Wyoming, with respect for the cattle, and in harmony with nature. Cattle graze on native and irrigated pastures year-round, without feed supplements. (Rarely, we supplement with hay during a severe winter storm.) Many people are surprised to learn that cattle can graze year-round in Wyoming, until we point out that the deer and antelope have done so for millennia.

Pastures and animals are free from pesticides, herbicides, added growth hormones, and antibiotic applications. Stress is minimized by calving in sync with nature, and animal-handling facilities are based on a low-stress Temple Grandin design. Beef is processed at an owner-operated, custom, USDA-inspected facility, aged for tenderness, and vacuum-packaged to maintain quality.

Quality grass-fed beef is available year-round, directly from Meadow Maid Foods, and at the Food Co-op, 205 E Mountain Avenue, Fort Collins, CO.

Our herd roams on native grass pastures free of commercial fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides. The bison are never fed grain or confined to a feedlot. They receive no growth hormones, stimulants, or antibiotics. Our herd is raised as naturally as possible.

All the bison we sell are processed at a facility we own and operate. This allows us to have complete oversight, ensuring the highest quality at every stage.

We sell individual packages, quarters, and other bulk bundles. Bison steaks, burger, roasts, and much more!

We also use low stress handling methods to ensure our animals are kept comfortable as well as healthy.

We feel a responsibility to our land as well as our animals so we use environmentally sound and sustainable practices.

Touchstone Angus has been producing all natural grass fed angus beef for over 12 years in Colorado and Wyoming. Our cattle are developed on open pasture and are never fed antibiotics or implanted with hormonal growth stimulants.

Angus cattle are well know for their ability to produce tender well-marbled beef. Tenderness combined with the grass-based diet found on the open ranges of Wyoming and Colorado give Touchstone Grass Fed Beef its distinctive flavor.

Touchstone Grass Fed beef is sold in whole, halves and quarters (half of a half). We make an effort to have beef available year around but most of the beef is ready in the fall. Most of our beef is processed at a USDA inspected plant in Elizabeth, Colorado where it can be picked up frozen or stored in a locker. We can ship beef as well if you live outside of Colorado or Wyoming and are unable to pick it up.
