Cameron Ranch is located in central Wyoming where we raise cattle, sheep and hay. We are a small operation (owner operated, 200 mother cows, 50 ewes) and strive to raise our livestock as healthy as possible. Summers are spent on mountain pastures, and winter on the base ranch, where hay is supplemented when necessary. Our animals are confined as little as possible and are corralled only for routine maintenance and shipping. Our desire is to establish a closer contact with consumers, and offer a product which is superior to what is offered in conventional markets.

Beef and lamb are offered as whole carcasses, halves or quarters and processed under state inspection. Meat may be purchased at the ranch or on our website. Ranch stays are also available for those seeking first hand ranch experiences.

Dirty Spur Cattle Company raises pure bred Texas Longhorns. All of our animals are born and raised right here in Highland, Utah and never leave one of our pastures. They are grass fed from the day they are born to the day they are slaughtered, and are never given any hormones or antibiotics.

We process our meat at the only USDA certified slaughter house in Utah County and we deliver our meat right to your home. You can trust that these cows are all-natural, hormone-free and never given anything but grass to eat all the days of their lives.

Our meat is extremely lean and has been tested at 92–98% lean. Thanks to Texas Longhorn beef, today's health-conscious consumer doesn't have to avoid tender juicy steaks. Not only is Longhorn beef leaner than that of other breeds, it is also lower in saturated fats. The flavorful Longhorn beef has less cholesterol and calories than chicken. Definitely good news for a healthy lifestyle!

"Lean beef is good for you – and the key word is lean. Longhorn meat on the average, contains 10 percent less saturated fat than that of other cattle. That puts lean Longhorn beef on par with skinned boneless white meat of chicken and that fact may come as a surprise to many dieticians." —Dr. Joseph Graham, Cardiovascular Surgeon at St. John's Medical Center in Joplin, Missouri.

We sell our beef in quarters, halves and full cows. You can also purchase ground beef from us in any quantity at any time of year. You can read more about the amazing qualities of Texas Longhorn lean meat on our website. We'd love to talk to you more about these amazing animals. Please give us a call.

Farmers Markets: We are vendors at the Thanksgiving Point Farmers Market on Friday from 3-7pm starting in August and ending in October. We are also vendors at the Happy Valley Farmers Market on Fridays from 5-9pm starting in August and ending in October.

We ship our meat anywhere in the continental US via UPS. Buyer pays shipping costs.

Dirty Spur Cattle Company, Mike New, 11151 N 6000 W, Highland UT 84003. (801) 361-3542.

Fort Causeway is a draft horse powered family farm located just east of Lovell, Wyoming, nestled against the Big Horn Mountains. Homesteaded five years ago, we built the infrastructure and now farm on 80 flood-irrigated acres using gravity gated pipe.

We do our best to farm using some of the newest technology and equipment available in draft animal powered farming.  Our family of six raises pastured pork, poultry, laying hens, dorper and katahdin lambs, and a few beef. We also utilize a few resident milk cows whose products serve our family, improve our pigs, and are supplied as pet food for others interested. Our pastures are rotated intensively, and contain many varieties of grasses and legumes. In addition, we supply all of our meat animals with 6-day-old green sprouted fodder year round for fantastic nutrition, taste, and consistency through all seasons. This fodder system also allows us to provide certified organic feed, and increases stocking rates without stressing our pastures.

The animals are well protected from predators by our Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dogs; puppies are available from time to time, started in training as family loving livestock guard dogs.

We follow organic and natural practices, though have not yet pursued Certified Organic status. No pesticides or herbicides have been used on the property for several years.

We grow a variety of produce in season, as well as raspberries, chokecherries, plums, and buffaloberries. We may look into CSA options in the future, for those interested.

We work, train, and sell a few outside teams of draft horses per year, in addition to regularly working our own draft horse rescues. Four foxtrotter saddle horses are available for local trail rides in the Big Horn or Pryor Mountains.

We offer grass finished animals live, or processed through local USDA inspected facilities, and are willing to ship.
Our farm embraces day and overnight visitors, both through a travel hostel and a vacation rental, and 4 RV sites, by appointment. Come and see your food growing!

Meadow Maid Foods, LLC grass-fed beef is produced for the heart, from the heart.

Our beeves are raised from birth to processing on a single ranch is southeastern Wyoming, with respect for the cattle, and in harmony with nature. Cattle graze on native and irrigated pastures year-round, without feed supplements. (Rarely, we supplement with hay during a severe winter storm.) Many people are surprised to learn that cattle can graze year-round in Wyoming, until we point out that the deer and antelope have done so for millennia.

Pastures and animals are free from pesticides, herbicides, added growth hormones, and antibiotic applications. Stress is minimized by calving in sync with nature, and animal-handling facilities are based on a low-stress Temple Grandin design. Beef is processed at an owner-operated, custom, USDA-inspected facility, aged for tenderness, and vacuum-packaged to maintain quality.

Quality grass-fed beef is available year-round, directly from Meadow Maid Foods, and at the Food Co-op, 205 E Mountain Avenue, Fort Collins, CO.

Touchstone Angus offers grass finished beef raised entirely on our ranch near Lusk, Wyoming. We have worked many years to identify angus cattle that are inherently capable of consistently producing tender beef within a grass/forage only diet. This hard to find genetic tenderness combined with the special quality of the native grass diet available on the open ranges of Wyoming sets Touchstone grass finished beef apart in taste.

Our beef is not certified as organic due to the time and money necessary for the process. Nonetheless, the beef has no added hormones and no antibiotics are fed. The cattle are raised on native pastures that are not sprayed with herbicides or farmed.

Touchstone beef is sold in whole, halves and quarters (half of a half). The beef is processed at a USDA inspected plant in Elizabeth Colorado where it can be picked up frozen or stored in a locker. We can ship beef as well if you live outside the Denver area and are unable to pick it up.

Williams Grassfed LLC is located in north-central Wyoming in the foothills of the beautiful Big Horn Mountains. The land has been in the family since 1890, and we are the fifth generation to be entrusted with the responsibility of being stewards of the land. The sixth generation, Marilee Juliet, came into this world on April 12th, 2006, and our goal is to provide her the opportunity to become a responsible steward of the land as well.

We use Holistic Resource Management practices to manage the land and create a self-sustaining ranch that supports not only cattle, but an abundance of big game animals, small animals, waterfowl, fish, and songbirds. We use nature as a guide in all of our management decisions, which is why we calve in sync with nature and use no chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides on the land. We keep our cattle happy with fresh pasture, pure water, clean air, and we treat the animals in a very humane and dignified manner. Our philosophy is Healthy Land -> Healthy Animals -> Healthy People.

We sell grass-fed beef in wholes, halves, quarters, and custom orders. All of our beef has been raised here on the ranch so we are certain that it contains no antibiotics, steroids, hormones, or animal by-products. We strongly believe in our product which is why we go to great lengths to provide a USDA-inspected product for our customers, which we can ship anywhere in the United States. We process once a year, in June, so get your orders in early to insure availability.

You can also find our products at the following grocery stores: Alpenglow, Casper WY; and The Health Nut, Sheridan WY.
