Dirty Spur Cattle Company raises pure bred Texas Longhorns. All of our animals are born and raised right here in Highland, Utah and never leave one of our pastures. They are grass fed from the day they are born to the day they are slaughtered, and are never given any hormones or antibiotics.
We process our meat at the only USDA-certified slaughter house in Utah County and we deliver our meat right to your home. You can trust that these cows are all-natural, hormone-free and never given anything but grass to eat all the days of their lives.
Our meat is extremely lean and has been tested at 92–98% lean. Thanks to Texas Longhorn beef, today's health-conscious consumer doesn't have to avoid tender juicy steaks. Not only is Longhorn beef leaner than that of other breeds, it is also lower in saturated fats. The flavorful Longhorn beef has less cholesterol and calories than chicken. Definitely good news for a healthy lifestyle!
"Lean beef is good for you – and the key word is lean. Longhorn meat on the average, contains 10 percent less saturated fat than that of other cattle. That puts lean Longhorn beef on par with skinned boneless white meat of chicken and that fact may come as a surprise to many dieticians." —Dr. Joseph Graham, Cardiovascular Surgeon at St. John's Medical Center in Joplin, Missouri.
We sell our beef in quarters, halves and full cows. You can also purchase ground beef from us in any quantity at any time of year. You can read more about the amazing qualities of Texas Longhorn lean meat on our website. We'd love to talk to you more about these amazing animals. Please give us a call.

At Lair Ranch, Doug and Mary Lair and Family raise grass-finished beef and lamb in the beautiful and fertile Yellowstone River Valley just downstream from Big Timber, Montana.
We are non-certified organic, using the regenerative practices of our ancestors for the past many years—no pesticides or herbicides on our pastures, no hormones, antibiotics, or grain supplements in our grass-finished market beef and lamb, and gentle and humane handling in a rotational grazing system that promotes overall animal, soil, and human health. We raise and feed our own hay for winter feed.
Our cows are Red Devon (a Heritage Breed), Red Angus and Devon/Angus crosses. It takes around 24–26 months to finish an animal on grass in this part of the Country. Much slower than a feed lot, but much healthier meat and well worth the wait! We calve on grass in late May thru July with our top beef prospects finishing at a perfect time in the late Summer and Fall as the weather cools and the grass hardens.
Our sheep are South African Meat Merinos (SAMMs) which are known for their outstanding carcass traits and flavor (along with very good wool). They also take a little longer to finish than some sheep breeds, but once again, are well worth the wait. Our sheep and cows are protected by three beautiful livestock protection dogs, each of a different breed.
The integrity of our business is entirely dependent upon the integrity of our processor, and we have a great one. Try our grass-finished products and we think you will agree.
We sell beef by the whole, half and quarter. Lamb by the whole and half. Beef and lamb available for 2022. Please contact Doug Lair, 406-930-2233, lairs@mtintouch.net.
Visitors always welcome! Please call in advance as we’re out pushing water (irrigating), pulling weeds, moving livestock, or fixing something most of the time.

We are proud to have been producing grass-fed beef and lamb for over 16 years. We work hard to treat our animals, our land, and our customers right. We do not give hormone implants to our animals but allow them to grow naturally. All our meat is antibiotic free and carefully cut by our skilled butcher.
Check out our online store to see the various cuts and bundles of cuts available. We also have Artisan sausages made from our meats by Lost River Meats in Mackay, Idaho. Meadow Maid Foods, LLC grass-fed
beef is produced for the heart, from the heart.
Our beeves are raised from birth to processing on
a single ranch in southeastern Wyoming, with respect for the cattle,
and in harmony with nature. Cattle graze on native and irrigated pastures
year-round, without feed supplements. (Rarely, we supplement with hay
during a severe winter storm.) Many people are surprised to learn that
cattle can graze year-round in Wyoming, until we point out that the deer
and antelope have done so for millennia.
Pastures and animals are free from pesticides, herbicides,
added growth hormones, and antibiotic applications. Stress is minimized
by calving in sync with nature, and animal-handling facilities are based
on a low-stress Temple Grandin design. Beef is processed at an owner-operated,
custom, USDA-inspected facility, aged for tenderness, and vacuum-packaged
to maintain quality.
Quality grass-fed beef is available year-round,
directly from Meadow Maid Foods, and at the Food Co-op, 205 E Mountain
Avenue, Fort Collins, CO.

Touchstone Grass Fed Beef has been producing high quality Angus beef in Colorado and Wyoming for over 26 years. Our cattle are developed on open pasture and grass-fattened on pasture grasses. Our Angus cattle are never fed antibiotics or implanted with hormonal growth stimulants.
Angus cattle are well known for their ability to produce tender, well-marbled beef. Tenderness and marbling combined with the grass-based diet offered by the open ranges of Wyoming give Touchstone Grass Fed Beef its exceptional flavor.
Touchstone Grass Fed beef is sold in whole, halves, and quarters (half of a half). We usually have beef available year-round, but most of the beef is ready in the fall. The cattle are processed at small family-owned USDA-inspected plants in Wyoming and Colorado.
During the fall months we have regular meeting times in Franktown, Colorado for those customers who pre-order in the spring/summer. Outside of the fall months we also carry over frozen inventory of grass-fed and finished quarters, halves, and wholes. Contact us for availably and delivery in the winter, and spring.
We can ship beef as well if you live outside of Colorado or Wyoming and are unable to pick it up. Visit our website at www.touchstoneangus.com for the most current information on availability.

Yes Ma’am Country Harvest is a three-generation, woman-owned, ranch-to-table business. We are dedicated to producing the healthiest 100% grass-fed Angus beef cattle, free of antibiotics and growth promoting hormones. Our family ranch is located in NE Wyoming, between Gillette (50 miles) and Casper (75 miles).
Being stewards of this land since 1917, our family has embraced soil, grass, and water conservation practices in order to successfully sustain a working cattle ranch within a diverse wildlife population.
Our Angus cattle thrive on pasture settings and are supplemented during winter with alfalfa hay and pellet “cow cake.” They always have access to fresh water, salt, and minerals and are handled with humane and gentle practices during seasonal work.
To meet optimal natural marbling potential, we do not process our 100% grass-fed beef prior to 2 years of age. We use a USDA inspected facility and dry-age each carcass 21 days. Individual cuts are vacuum packaged to extend freshness and prevent freezer-burn well beyond a 1-year timeframe.
Yes Ma’am offers bulk beef in whole, half and quarter sizes, as well as smaller bundle sizes. We also fill personalized orders through our farmers market trailer. Customers pre-purchasing whole or half beef have the option to set their own cut sheet, with fulfillment of pre-orders occurring in the fall season. We do carry limited supplies of bulk beef for immediate purchase throughout the winter season.
