Ararat Farm is a family farm located in the mountains of Lee County, Virginia, dedicated to raising the healthiest, best tasting grass-fed beef and pastured pork you can find! We practice holistic management so that we can better steward all life on our farm, from the microbes under the soil to the animals eating the grass.

Our cattle are intensively rotated through the pastures to ensure they always have access to premium grass and forbs and allowing plenty of regrowth time for the grass.

Our pigs are rotated through a combination of pasture and woods to allow them to forage to the fullness of the ability that God created them with.

We have been proudly providing hormone- and antibiotic-free meats to customers for seven years now. We sell the beef in bulk (quarter, halves, and whole) two times a year (spring and fall). We sell the pork by halves and whole in the summer (to take advantage of the grasses) and the winter (to take advantage of the fall acorn crop). We use a local processor to butcher the meat, so it is frozen hard, labeled, and vacuum-packed when you get it.

We welcome our customers to come visit the farm and see how their food is raised. Please contact us to get more information about ordering or about our farm.

Copperhead Homestead – It is my passion to raise and sell food the way my grandparents (and great-grandparents!) did. Raising trustworthy food without chemicals, medications, or factory farming techniques. Healthy, pastured beef cattle and hand-planted heirloom produce, never coated with pesticides or herbicides.

My dream is to bring back the golden days of farming: when farmers could feed their food to their own children, when neighbors could trust their local farmers to provide safe and responsible nutrition. I believe the only way to ensure the safety and sustainability of your food is to form a relationship with your local farmer; I want to be that farmer for you. If I am not, I would still like to help you find someone to fill your family’s needs.

My cows enjoy free range over more than 200 acres. To ensure their diet remains healthy and lush, they are moved seasonally around the farm, always having access to fresh grass. I don’t need to preach about the benefits of grass fed cattle; you know their guts aren’t designed for corn, sugar, or other dietary additives they are often given for rapid weight and fat gain. This has never, and will never, happen on Copperhead. Each and every cow I sell has been raised from birth on my farm. This ensures that the cow was never given antibiotics or hormones early in life, and that the cow was not fattened with corn. This also allows me to control the genetics of my cattle population. Our cows have never received medication of any kind, and are exclusively pastured on grass and well water.

We offer several packages and free delivery on large orders to almost all of Georgia and North Florida. Delivery is available to Tennessee, Alabama and South Carolina for a fee.

Healthy Tasty Beef is raised at Walnut Grove Farm, which has been in the family since 1935. Our grass-fed, grass-finished operation sells only beef born and raised on these acres in NW Arkansas. We offer overnight shipping by ground to the Memphis, Tennessee area.

Our pure-bred Hereford cattle are grazed in pastures of mixed grass. The summer pastures are primarily Bermuda grass, White Clover, Red Clover and Lespedeza. Late winter and spring find the cattle feeding on Annual Rye Grass, Wheat and Fescue. Cattle being prepared for harvest in the winter time are supplemented with top quality alfalfa hay. We use managed intensive grazing and never graze forage older than second stage growth. Cattle drink clear fresh water from tanks in their pastures, not water from ponds they've been standing in.

Our beef is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, beta carotene, vitamin E and CLA. They are raised free of stress. No grains, hormones, or antibiotics are used in producing this meat for you. Our farming methods are environmentally friendly. No pesticides are used on our pastures. Meat is USDA certified, vacuum sealed and flash frozen. The great flavor is rich and robust.

Katharos Farm LLC is a family-owned, pasture-based, holistic, rotational mob grazing, beyond organic local farm just outside Nashville, TN. Delivering Pure Polyculture Food is a refreshing standard that requires our paradigm to be different and encompass everything involved with farming, not JUST avoiding a random list of chemicals.

Stewarding today: Pastured Broilers [chickens], Eggs, and Pork (pastured and forest raised/finished).

Coming soon: Pastured raised and finished South Poll Beef, Turkey, and Lamb.

Lone Oak Farm is unlike traditional cattle farms in that Pat Hankins has a tremendous passion for the “process” of farming. With more than 20 years of farming experience on very large farms, he decided to take a different approach.

Pat's vision for Lone Oak Farm is one of purism. He is raising 100% grass fed Tennessee beef in a strict organic (not certified) environment. His cattle are inoculated for normal bovine maladies, but NO antibiotics are used. He NEVER uses hormone supplements, NOR do his animals receive animal by-product feed. NO chemical insecticides or chemical worming medicines are used.

Depending on the season, Pat has a variety of cuts of meat available. Because Lone Oak Farm is smaller in scale than most farms, we do not ship our beef. We feel that shipping all around the country we would be destroying the very environment that we are trying to preserve. We make local deliveries or you may pick up directly from the butcher.

Pat Hankins is passionate about sharing the environmental and health benefits of raising and consuming grass-fed beef. To learn more, visit our website.

Rolling Hills Farm is dedicated to make sure our processes are natural and sustainable. We do not feed our animals antibiotics or use any growth hormones. Our animals enjoy the sunshine and fresh air, they have fresh natural spring water to drink and fresh pastures to roam.

We currently offer beef by the side, split side, or sampler package. The beef is vacuum-sealed and frozen at our local USDA inspected processor. Your meat can be picked up at the farm. We also have a monthly meat and eggs CSA; local pickup locations are listed on our website.

Just like our grandparents, we raise our animals in a humane method that allows them to enjoy being exactly what they are. If God put them on the earth to graze in tall fresh grass, they will graze in tall fresh grass. If they were meant to dig up roots and tubers and enjoy acorns and chestnuts, that is the environment we try to provide. They may enjoy dust baths, eating bugs and fresh shoots of grass. You will be confident of the wisdom of this approach once you try our fresh pastured eggs or beef.

Rowe Family Farms is a total of 160 acres of sustainable farms located in Cleveland, Tennessee between Knoxville and Chattanooga. We produce high quality, grass fed meats on pasture without chemicals, pesticides, hormones, antibiotics, or harmful fertilizers. Our meat is USDA inspected, vacuum sealed and flash frozen. You can purchase as little or as much as you would like.

We practice all natural growing and raising of our animals, but not certified organic. We practice pasture rotation using pasture raised chickens and cows to improve the health of our animals through parasite control and to enhance the land on which we are fortunate enough to farm. We believe in allowing the animals to live as intended in open pasture, with sunshine, natural water source and plenty of grass. In colder months, we supplemented with mixed grass hay grown and baled on the farm.

We offer pastured poultry, grass fed beef and lamb and other meat offerings and home delivery service. Our farm is open to visitors just about any time, just give us a call first to ensure we're not making home deliveries or at the farmers' market. We're completely transparent and love the opportunity to discuss our passion of providing high quality all natural grass fed meat products to our family and community.

The Sanders Farm is located in the foothills of Clinch Mountain in upper east Tennessee, close to neighboring Kentucky, Virginia and North Carolina. We have tended a small beef cow/calf herd at our family farm since 1979. We have kept our pasture and hayfields herbicide and pesticide-free for those 35 years. We use no antibiotics, pesticides or growth stimulants of any kind on any animal to be sold on Eatwild. Flies are kept under control with a walk-through fly trap and dustings of DE.

The calves I am selling eat only our own pasture and hay and their mother's milk. They free-range with their mothers and the rest of the closed herd until the day they are processed.

I prefer to sell my calves whole or by the half in the late Spring or in the Fall. Hanging weight is around 300 pounds (give or take 50 pounds) and take-home meat averages 200 pounds. I deliver your calf to a family-owned and operated butcher in Bulls Gap, TN and you pick up your frozen (vacuum-packed in plastic) meat there. You decide how long you want your meat aged and how you want it cut and packaged.

My price, as of the summer of 2014, is $3.50 per pound of hanging weight and the butcher charges $.50 per pound based on hanging weight. However, due to the rising prices in the livestock market and of all consumer products and labor, my price as well as the butcher's fee will most likely have to go up before long.

We would rather sell our beef calves to individuals who want untainted beef than into the feedlot industry where they live a little longer but in an unnatural and highly stressful way.

Shady Grove Farm is located in rural east TN at the edge of the Cumberland Plateau west of Knoxville. We are a small family farm with 80 acres of pasture and woods. We also manage two adjacent parcels for grazing. We offer grass-fed beef, grass-fed lamb, pastured poultry, and free-range eggs.

We began farming with the intent to raise our own foods products to know first hand the origin and health of our meats. We enjoyed the food and farming so much that we began offering our meats to family and then friends. Since then our customer base has continued to grow by word of mouth until this year when we expanded through advertising. We only sell what we ourselves would eat.

Our animals are moved twice daily to new pasture using management intensive grazing techniques. These techniques allow more evenly distributed fertilization, long rest times before re-grazing, and help in the healing of the land. Healthy land produces healthy food which in turns produces healthy people.

Feeds for our animals consist of grasses, hay, and minerals for the cattle and sheep. The poultry receive only natural grain based feeds along with what nature provides in the way of grasses/greens, seeds, and bugs.

"Local" is the key to knowing where your food comes from and how it is raised. The majority of our customers are within a 200 mile radius ranging from Knoxville to Cookville and as far south as Chattanooga.

We welcome visitors to our farm to observe first hand how a healthy farm is managed. Come for a visit.

Tennessee Grass Fed is the name we use for the locally grown grass-fed meats produced on the Baggett Family Farm which is located in the Sango community of Clarksville/ Montgomery County, TN. Our family has owned the land since 1837. We produce 100% grass-fed beef as well as free-range chickens and pastured pork, all without hormones or antibiotics.

All meats are processed under USDA Inspection. Our beef is dry aged to intensify its natural flavors. When the taste of beef produced with our select native grasses and clovers is then further enhanced by dry-aging, the eating experience created becomes memorable, regardless of the cut being served. All animals are allowed to graze/roam without close confinement. No cages or crates are ever used.

All our products are available through our website and can be picked up at the farm or delivered to our storage freezers located at the Farmers Co-op on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard in Clarksville or the Pleasant View Mill in Pleasant View. We also sell at three farmers markets: Downtown Clarksville, Murfreesboro, and Nashville, and offer Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) memberships with monthly delivery of either beef alone or an assortment of our meats.

Wildcat Ranch produces 100% American Grassfed Association (AGA) Certified Black Angus Beef. American grassfed

After retiring from the Army, David and Jenny MacDonald pursued their dream of owning a cattle ranch. Established in 2007, Wildcat Ranch was conceived with the premise of creating an homogenous herd of Grassfed Black Angus cattle in a stress-free environment. It has taken eight years to fully realize this goal and we have developed a herd of stress-free cows. We know every cow, and provide individual attention to each one. Within this stress-free environment our cows and calves flourish.

Our cattle only eat grass, hay, approved mineral supplements and drink water that comes from a natural spring on our ranch. We currently sell our beef at the McEwen, Tennessee Farmers Market every Friday from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM and the Clarksville, Tennessee Farmers Market every Saturday from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM. We will be at these two Farmers Markets until 22 October 2016.

We sell by the cut all year and Quarters, Halves and Whole from November to April. Our beef is processed in a USDA inspected facility (Yoder Brothers Meat Processing in Paris, Tennessee), and bears a USDA inspection label.

We will take orders and deliver within 60 miles of our Ranch. Finally, you are welcome to come visit. Please give us a call, email us or like us on Facebook “Wildcat Ranch, McEwen Tennessee.”
