Creek Bend Farm is a 230-acre family farm in the rolling hills of Dekalb County Tennessee. We raise USDA-certified, 100% grass-fed beef, pastured pork, pastured chicken and free-range eggs. We are not certified organic, but believe strongly in utilizing the most sustainable practices and strive to operate above and beyond organic standards.
In addition to open access to fresh pasture, our pigs and chickens receive organic or non-GMO feed whenever possible. Our happy cows spend 100% of their lives on pasture. Our goals as farmers and stewards of the land are to produce healthy food for the community. We achieve this through a specific type of grazing called Management Intensive Grazing or Rotational Grazing. This means we are moving our livestock every 1–3 days so that the animals have fresh grass, and also to give the land time to rest and recover. This style of grazing over time produces deeper, richer soil, healthier grass and cleaner streams. All of our practices are shaped by the goal of improving the health of the land, the animals, and our community.
Our products are available at the Hip Donelson and the Dekalb Farmers Markets, direct from the farm, or by arrangement at various Nashville locations. We sell individual cuts of meat or offer a CSA, which is a 20–22 lb monthly share of beef, pork and chicken. Additional information and our price list is available on our website.
We have a yurt and cabin available as a guesthouse for families and couples wishing to experience farm life and learn about sustainable farming practices. We love giving farm tours and sharing the beauty of our land and animals with others.

Lone Oak Farm is unlike traditional cattle
farms in that Pat Hankins has a tremendous passion for the “process” of
farming. With more than 20 years of farming experience on very large
farms, he decided to take a different approach.
Pat's vision for Lone Oak Farm is one of purism.
He is raising 100% grass fed Tennessee beef in a strict organic
(not certified) environment. His cattle are inoculated for normal bovine
maladies, but NO antibiotics are used. He NEVER uses hormone supplements,
NOR do his animals receive animal by-product feed. NO chemical insecticides
or chemical worming medicines are used.
Depending on the season, Pat has a variety of cuts
of meat available. Because Lone Oak Farm is smaller in scale than most
farms, we do not ship our beef. We feel that shipping all around the
country we would be destroying the very environment that we are trying
to preserve. We make local deliveries or you may pick up directly
from the butcher.
Pat Hankins is passionate about sharing the environmental
and health benefits of raising and consuming grass-fed beef. To learn

Pure Pasture Farms: The mission of Pure Pasture Farms is to fix things! Naturally.
Our family has rallied around the opportunity to run a clean grass farm where livestock can feed and grow in an all-natural environment the way their ancestors were raised. Our dream is to replace the dependence on the broken industrialized food system to enable members of our family, our friends, and our customers to enjoy clean and healthy food like our great grandparents had in days past. As we heal the land at Pure Pasture Farms we invite you to taste the products that are made possible through a pursuit of a natural and pure approach to farming that provides the production of Chicken and Eggs that are free of the poisons destroying the contemporary food distribution systems and the resulting products.
In these days of unprecedented health care costs and all the focus on creating a better system to deliver health care, we believe its time to stop and ask why. Why would we allow a broken food system to continue to poison our bodies and the bodies of our children? All our efforts to create better health care systems will be pointless unless we begin to wake up and face the reason for disease and poor health. That's the goal of Pure Pasture Farms: to restore our food and the ground that provides it. We are just a small farm but we will push forward to "restore the land, one acre at a time, as we provide pure, natural and nutritious food, to one body at a time."
We invite you to taste the difference that is made possible from the efforts to restore a pure, natural and nutritious food product for our family, our friends and our customers.

Rolling Hills Farm is dedicated to make
sure our processes are natural and sustainable. We do not feed our
animals antibiotics or use any growth hormones. Our animals enjoy the
sunshine and fresh air, they have fresh natural spring water to drink
and fresh pastures to roam.
We currently offer beef by the side,
split side, or sampler package. The beef is vacuum-sealed and frozen
at our local USDA inspected processor. Your meat can be picked up at
the farm. We also have a monthly meat and eggs CSA; local pickup locations
are listed on our website.
Just like our grandparents, we raise our animals
in a humane method that allows them to enjoy being exactly what they
are. If God put them on the earth to graze in tall fresh grass, they
will graze in tall fresh grass. If they were meant to dig up roots and
tubers and enjoy acorns and chestnuts, that is the environment we try
to provide. They may enjoy dust baths, eating bugs and fresh shoots of
grass. You will be confident of the wisdom of this approach once you
try our fresh pastured eggs or beef.

The Sanders Farm is located in the foothills of Clinch Mountain in upper east Tennessee, close to neighboring Kentucky, Virginia and North Carolina. We have tended a small beef cow/calf herd at our family farm since 1979. We have kept our pasture and hayfields herbicide and pesticide-free for those 35 years. We use no antibiotics, pesticides or growth stimulants of any kind on any animal to be sold on Eatwild. Flies are kept under control with a walk-through fly trap and dustings of DE.
The calves I am selling eat only our own pasture and hay and their mother's milk. They free-range with their mothers and the rest of the closed herd until the day they are processed.
I prefer to sell my calves whole or by the half in the late Spring or in the Fall. Hanging weight is around 300 pounds (give or take 50 pounds) and take-home meat averages 200 pounds. I deliver your calf to a family-owned and operated butcher in Bulls Gap, TN and you pick up your frozen (vacuum-packed in plastic) meat there. You decide how long you want your meat aged and how you want it cut and packaged.
My price, as of the summer of 2014, is $3.50 per pound of hanging weight and the butcher charges $.50 per pound based on hanging weight. However, due to the rising prices in the livestock market and of all consumer products and labor, my price as well as the butcher's fee will most likely have to go up before long.
We would rather sell our beef calves to individuals who want untainted beef than into the feedlot industry where they live a little longer but in an unnatural and highly stressful way.

Shady Grove Farm is located in rural east
TN at the edge of the Cumberland Plateau west of Knoxville. We are
a small family farm with 80 acres of pasture and woods. We also manage
two adjacent parcels for grazing. We offer grass-fed beef, grass-fed lamb,
pastured poultry, and free-range eggs.
We began farming with the intent to raise our own
foods products to know first hand the origin and health of our meats.
We enjoyed the food and farming so much that we began offering our meats
to family and then friends. Since then our customer base has continued
to grow by word of mouth until this year when we expanded through advertising.
We only sell what we ourselves would eat.
Our animals are moved twice daily to new pasture
using management intensive grazing techniques. These techniques allow
more evenly distributed fertilization, long rest times before re-grazing,
and help in the healing of the land. Healthy land produces healthy food
which in turns produces healthy people.
Feeds for our animals consist of grasses, hay, and
minerals for the cattle and sheep. The poultry receive only natural grain
based feeds along with what nature provides in the way of grasses/greens,
seeds, and bugs.
"Local" is the key to knowing where your
food comes from and how it is raised. The majority of our customers
are within a 200 mile radius ranging from Knoxville to Cookville and
as far south as Chattanooga.
We welcome visitors to our farm to observe first
hand how a healthy farm is managed. Come for a visit.

Tennessee Grass Fed is the name we use for the locally grown grass-fed
meats produced on the Baggett Family Farm which is located in the Sango community of Clarksville/
Montgomery County, TN. Our family has owned the land since 1837. We produce 100% grass-fed beef as well as free-range chickens and pastured pork, all without hormones or antibiotics.
All meats are processed under USDA Inspection. Our beef is dry aged to intensify its natural flavors.
When the taste of beef produced with our select native grasses and clovers is then further enhanced
by dry-aging, the eating experience created becomes memorable, regardless of the cut being served.
All animals are allowed to graze/roam without close confinement. No cages or crates
are ever used.
All our products are available through our
website and can be picked up at the farm or delivered
to our storage freezers located at the Farmers Co-op on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard in Clarksville or the
Pleasant View Mill in Pleasant View.
We also sell at three farmers markets: Downtown Clarksville, Murfreesboro, and Hopkinsville, KY and offer Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) memberships with monthly delivery of either beef alone or an assortment of our meats.
We are located 4 miles off I-24 at Exit 19 (Maxey Road); seven miles past the WalMart on Madison Street when driving from Clarksville.

Tennessee Valley Farms is nestled in the
foothills of the Smoky Mountains in the Tennessee Valley. Its beautiful

climate. We are USDA-approved to claim that our herd is 100% Grass
Fed, Raised Entirely on Open Pasture, Humanely Raised, and given no

Our mission is to provide you the highest quality
100% grass fed beef. Because our cattle are raised and pastured
locally, you always know where your beef comes from.

Wildcat Ranch produces 100% American Grassfed Association (AGA) Certified Black Angus Beef.
After retiring from the Army, David and Jenny MacDonald pursued their dream of owning a cattle ranch. Established in 2007, Wildcat Ranch was conceived with the premise of creating an homogenous herd of Grassfed Black Angus cattle in a stress-free environment. It has taken eight years to fully realize this goal and we have developed a herd of stress-free cows. We know every cow, and provide individual attention to each one. Within this stress-free environment our cows and calves flourish.
Our cattle only eat grass, hay, approved mineral supplements and drink water that comes from a natural spring on our ranch. We currently sell our beef at the McEwen, Tennessee Farmers Market every Friday from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM and the Clarksville, Tennessee Farmers Market every Saturday from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM. We will be at these two Farmers Markets until 22 October 2016.
We sell by the cut all year and Quarters, Halves and Whole from November to April. Our beef is processed in a USDA inspected facility (Yoder Brothers Meat Processing in Paris, Tennessee), and bears a USDA inspection label.
We will take orders and deliver within 60 miles of our Ranch. Finally, you are welcome to come visit. Please give us a call, email us or like us on Facebook “Wildcat Ranch, McEwen Tennessee.”
